About the Author
Peter Keetman is a commercial and industrial photographer who has also published several books of landscape photography. In 1949, he was one of the original founders of the "fotoform" group of photographers, a predecessor of the international subjective photography movement. During the past several decades, he has had one-man shows in Germany and the United States. He lives and works in Breitbrunn-Chiemsee, Germany.

One of the greatest books about the humble VW beetle

This is one of those Rare books that will be enjoyed by Volkswagen enthusiasts and Photographers alike.
Its a rare insight into the Volkswagenwerk Factory to see individual parts of a Volkswagen and the end result.
In between the covers, there are the fabulous rare photographs of VW parts stacked on top of each other.
I have a collection of books about the Volkswagen Beetle, but this book is not like any other Volkswagen book.
I really do recommend this book , and if You are buying it for a Volkswagen beetle owner or VW enthusiast ,
I'm sure they will be very pleased with this Gift.. maybe even "over the moon"

No one cares

If you're even remotely interested in photography, you'll enjoy this book. You'll probably want to enlarge and frame many of the photos within. I bought a poster in a used record store taken from a page in this book, cropped a little on the edges, framed it and have a great wall hanging many people compliment and ask aboout. It didn't take long for me to check the fine print and determine from where it came. It had to be ordered as I'm sure It's not well-known. If this book were marketed however, it could target Volkswagen fanatics and, to a lesser degree, car nuts in general. It's fascinating and a little wierd to see the obsessive order in which all parts were stacked and stored. Also cool are the shots of seemingly endless rows of perfect, new VWs. Beetles and Buses in staight, orderly rows. My first car was a '68 beetle which I rolled, and later hit a deer in -the deer survived. Beetle ownership, however, is not needed to enjoy this book. And, if you're simply into displaying books and getting reactions, this represents the most bang-per-buck ever.

Do you wonder why some buildings can change the way you feel? Well wonder no more.

There are certain mathematical ratios that occur repeatedly in the universe, and have been known to the most advanced civilizations preceding us. Most of the currently built structures in the US do not reflect these geometric ratios, and architects do not learn any of this in school. Nowadays it is all about costs and efficiencies. Project managers have more to say about the construction than the architects. Buildings are merely boxes in which we work or things are sold.

As the author reflects, our buildings reflect our current nature. Looks like we're not as advanced as we perceive ourselves to be.

Herbert Bangs brings extraordinary insights into his scholarly yet impassioned exploration of sacred architecture, which is a relatively new and vitally important subject. Bangs presents illustrations and historical accounts of a wide variety of architectural structures, letting the stories of each example demonstrate the points he makes regarding archetypes of shelter (cave, clearing, garden, water, elements), archetypes of design (duality, hierarchy, materials), and resolution of form. Bangs enthusiastically praises those architectural masterpieces which prove themselves to be aesthetically pleasing and livable, and denounces designs which may have been lauded by others, yet actually are tolerable by few. There are reasons why some spaces can lead people to feel relaxed and refreshed... or confused and stressed... and Bangs brilliantly describes the architectural principles and qualities that create these results. THE RETURN OF SACRED ARCHITECTURE is a clarion call for adopting a more intuitive approach to design and a better appreciation for the sources of divine inspiration. Inspiring, Practical, and Applicable!

I'm so thankful I read this book! As a busy mom with 3 young kids, I felt like I was defeated by the list of all of the things I "should be" doing. Organizing You helped me to prioritize and assess what I really need to get done to be the best mom for my family and let go of all the rest of those unrealistic expectations. Shannon proves herself to be relatable, light hearted, and full of wisdom about how to simplify and de-clutter your mind, heart, and home and make more room for Jesus in the process. It was inspiring, full of practical suggestions, and easy to apply to real life. A must read for all moms!

A Must-Read For All Moms!

This is one of those rare books that as soon as I finished reading, I started it over again. There are so many great tips that you'll want to write them down or reference back to them time and again. Many organizational books can leave you feeling overwhelmed - this one did not. The author has a way of lifting you up and encouraging you to be the best mom you can be. And what mom couldn't use a little more encouragement in her life?
I loved this book!

This is a great book on organizing and decluttering your life to make more room for Jesus. The author provides a free, 6 week group study packet if you email her. I led the study with a group of women who all really enjoyed the book and the tips Shannon gives. Definitely worth reading!
