Don't waste your money an time on this scam of a book

This book is nothing but a scam. Poorly produced, no index, many typos, and many wrong info. No wonder the book doesn't even have a genuine author name. You'll be better off with books such as " R in A Nutshell", "R Cookbook", "Using R for Statistics". There are also free R ebooks available on the Internet. Please don't waste your money as I wasted mine.

This is a scam; don't buy.

I agree with other reviewers that this book is a complete scam. This is a terrible book. It is a self-published, print-on-demand title. The author/publisher is identified only as "Acodemy." It is not a step-by-step guide to R Programming. It is a collection of the author's incoherent notes. He uses terms without explaining or defining them. When he does explain/define a term, the definition is either incomprehensible, or uses so many terms interchangeably as to render all of them meaningless.

About the Author
Fabián A. Samaniego earned his B.A. degree at New Mexico State University and completed his graduate work at the University of Iowa. He taught four years at Utah State University before going to the University of California at Davis, where he served as coordinator of the first-year Spanish program and supervisor of teaching assistants for 24 years. He also served as assistant director of several Foreign Language Competency projects for the Los Angeles and San Francisco Unified School Districts, and for the Santa Clara and Sacramento County Offices of Education. In addition, he served on the steering committee of the California Foreign Language Teacher Preparation Project and on the California Foreign Language Project Policy Board. He is frequently asked to conduct in-service workshops for schools and universities across the country. Samaniego's first-year college text, DÍMELO TÚ!, is in its sixth edition, and his intermediate text, MUNDO 21, recently published in its fourth edition. He is a co-author of LANGUAGE AND CULTURE IN LEARNING: TEACHING SPANISH TO NATIVE SPEAKERS OF SPANISH and of DIME!, a seven-book school series that includes a two-year native Spanish speaker's program: Tu mundo and Nuestro mundo.

Francisco Rodriguez Nogales is an Associate Professor of Spanish in the School of Modern Languages at Santa Barbara City College. He is a specialist in the use of technology in foreign-language teaching and online instruction--his teaching load has been 100 percent online for the past five years. He also has developed several Spanish assessment and placement tools. Nogales was born in Pedrera (Seville), Spain. He completed his bachelor of arts at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, his master's at San Francisco State University, and his Ph.D. at the University of California at Davis.

David Planchard is the founder of D&M Education LLC. Before starting D&M Education, he spent over 27 years in industry and academia holding various engineering, marketing, and teaching positions. He holds five U.S. patents. He has published and authored numerous papers on Machine Design, Product Design, Mechanics of Materials, and Solid Modeling. He is an active member of the SOLIDWORKS Users Group and the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE). David holds a BSME, MSM with the following professional certifications: CCAI, CCNP, CSDA, CSWSA-FEA, CSWP, CSWP-DRWT and SOLIDWORKS Accredited Educator. David is a SOLIDWORKS Solution Partner, an Adjunct Faculty member and the SAE advisor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Mechanical Engineering department. In 2012, David s senior Major Qualifying Project team (senior capstone) won first place in the Mechanical Engineering department at WPI. In 2014 and 2015, David s senior Major Qualifying Project team won the Provost award in Mechanical Engineering for design excellence.

A painfully beautiful tale of fascination and betrayal

I was originally drawn into Trussoni's misshapen love story when she published a series of stories as a "True Love" column on The Rumpus. She indicated that she was in the process of crafting a memoir. As I eagerly awaited each new installment of the story of her and The Magician, I knew that this book was something worth waiting for; when the column was taken off the site and I found that the book had a publication date, I pre-ordered it immediately. Thus the wait began.

Deftly weaving together the elements of her story, Trussoni effortlessly shifts from the heavy strangeness of La Commanderie—a fortress in rural France—to everything that brought her there and made her family what it was. She was instantly taken with Nikolai when she met him a decade earlier, and he swept her away with mysticism and passionate need. I'm a lot like Trussoni, and currently in the midst of writing a play based on a doomed relationship in which instinct and reality were set aside in favor of obsessive desire. So the timing of her memoir's publication could not have been better. She examines the repetitive pattern of gaslighting in which Nikolai not only lied to her but made her doubt her own perceptions, as well as the forces at work in her personality and past that allowed her to keep pushing aside her gut feelings and stay with him. Her children were, on the one hand, a powerful reason to stay together, and on the other bore the brunt of her ex-husband's callous whimsicality. As she comes to see his possessiveness play out in their daughter's life and his emotional hardness take form against her son, Trussoni "recognize[s], in [her] daughter, [her] own need to believe in the impossible."

Belief and desire—belief in desire, desire for belief—are at the book's heart, and it is impossible not to be pulled along in Trussoni's struggle with her husband and, more importantly, with herself. Refusing to paint herself as a victim of circumstance, she instead takes a searing, incisive look at herself, laying bare her susceptibility and the unique and painful ways it was exploited. And yet this really is a love story: the explosive beginning of her relationship with Nikolai echoes far into the book, underscoring the great painfulness and slow deterioration of betrayal as he repeatedly tells her what she wants to hear and then does the opposite. Loved this book even though it was painful to read at times. It's a story of a spectacularly failed marriage that is personal, riveting and impossible to put down. I consumed in a day and wanted more. What a fascinating writer. Can't wait to read more of her work.

perfection!

This book was absolute perfection for me!! It had me swooning, drooling and panting over Sarah J. Brooks characters! It was the perfect blend of heart warming, HOTNESS , and seriously tortured Alpha hero (and heroine). I loved how their love for each other made them stronger than any problems that came their way. It was so refreshing and heart warming.

These books were REALLY good!! I wish there was more to the ending of this book, like what will happen to Ryan (teacher sleeping with his student) or what happens to Jennifer (does she finish her last year of law school) do they profess their love to each other? So many things got left out at the end of this book! Other than that, Great Book!!!

I was very pleased with the entire series (books 1-10). The story was interesting enough to keep me reading until the end. Certain things about the characters were predictable but not enough that it ruined the entire thing for me.

Although the first 8 books were what had me hooked, I did feel that the last two were short and could have been combined ... for that matter, all the "books" could have been combined to make a very nice book for reading.

Overall, I was left with a happy feeling and an enjoyable experience after reading these
